My name is Lin Yu Qiong. I am from China. I speak Mandarin and Fukianese.

I am married. My husband works is a factory making stainless products. He works in Flushing. We have 2 children. They both go to school.

I live in Chinatown. My house is the most prominent one on the street it is located. My neighbors are Chinese. My neighborhood is safe and nice. Shopping and transportation is convenient and easy. The subway station is only a 5-minute walk from my home.

I have worked and lived in several different states before I moved to New York. I sometimes work and sometimes don’t. When I work, I work in a restaurant as a waitress.

Without English, it is hard for me to work on my job although my job doesn’t need much English.

When I don’t work outside, I take care of my children at home and study English.
I also take class to study English. My teacher teaches me a lot of English. He also teaches me to understand the life in the U.S.A.

I came to America in 1999. I worked in a textile mill before I came to America.

My favorite hobby is listening to music. My favorite food is sweet and sour fish in vinegar.
